Uganda: `Makerere University to Reopen in Jan` (AllAfrica.com)
MAKERERE University will open in January, President Yoweri Museveni announced yesterday. The university will open a month earlier to allow students to sit exams which they missed due to a lecturers` strike for a pay rise.
